So, Who's the Redhead?

Sh*t's About to get real.
I’m Madi, and I created Laundry in the Oven—because, you know, that’s a thing I definitely have never done...
If you’re here for perfection or even parenting advice, please exit stage right. This blog is for those of us caregivers who are just barely hanging on, but doing it with style (and vices). I’m the one who forgets appointments, and says "i'll do laundry tomorrow" every single day. Spoiler: it’s never tomorrow.
I’ll be the first to admit that I have no idea what I’m doing. But honestly? It’s fine. I’m just out here trying to make it through without setting my house on fire—or, you know, losing my kids at any social events people dare invite us to.
Here, I share all my embarrassing moments so you can laugh and think, “I’m so glad I’m not the only one.” Or so you can judge harshly and hide behind a keyboard. Whatever works.
From toddler tantrums to mom fails so spectacular - they should be documented for posterity (and now are), I’m here to remind you that the best part of being a parent is realizing we’re all winging it together.
So, if you’re into self-deprecating humor, awkward parenting moments, and laughing at the messiness that is caring for tiny hurricanes, you’re in the right place. Grab a drink of your choosing, settle in, and let’s laugh at the complete disaster we call being a parent. Because if I don’t laugh about the chaos, I might just lose my mind. And we can’t have that (again).
